In Chapter 3 of the book The Chosen when I read that Danny Saunders approach Reuven for the 2nd, I was shocked. I say this because the day before Danny Saunders had arrived, Reuven said, "For my part you can go to hell and take your whole snooty bunch of Hasidim along with you!" and Danny Saunders stood quiet and didn't move not one bit, until Reuven told him to. If I were Danny, knowing that Reuven had to let out all of that anger on me, I wouldn't have came back a second time to apology. This is why when Danny Saunders came to the hospital again to talk to Reuven I was shocked.
