THE CHOSEN CHAPTER 12

This chapter is very surprising .Who would have thought a rabbi would be yelling at a teenager?The chapter started of good Danny and Rueven started hanging out again. It was as if their friendship was getting stronger.Ruevens father is in the hospital so he sees him n the afternoons with Danny .When they seen Mr.malter he had told them of the importance of palestine becoming the jewish homeland.They continued talking about the jewry then Rueven and Danny left.One morning during breakfast Rueven told Mr.Saunders that alot of people where now saying that it was time for palestine to become the jewish homeland.he yelled and asked Rueven who had said these things.Rueven just said apikorsims and goyim hidin the fact that it was his father who had said that.Mr.Saunders did not like hearing this because he did not like the fact that that land would be contaminated by jewish goyim.Mr.Saunders left .Then Danny took Rueven to his room and explained to Rueven that his father takes God and Torah seriousely ,he would die for them quite happily. From the on Rueven thought of what he was going to say toMr.Saunders before he said it.
