Chapter 9- The Chosen

Chapter 9 was a very eventful chapter.

Though it was about 4 pages long it covered most of the things in Reuven's personal life including his doctor appointment. Danny could not read for a long time ,because his eye injury dealing with Danny but when the doctor told him he can read ,and basically become human again he got very happy. When he finally went back to school the first thing he read was his final exams and though he did not get allot of practice ,because of his eye he was still happy to read again. Reuven did not get to see Danny for that whole week ,but during his free time he decided to call Billy to find out that his surgery did not work which made him very sad. He then went out side and saw a struggling fly in a spider's web and freed it. He does this to help the fly who could not help himself, something he wish he did for Billy. These two things brings us back to the motif which is blind sight. Billy is blind and will mostly live blind ,and the fly was blind because he could not see his way out of the web ,but that time Reuven could actually help.
