Comments About "Two Kinds" and "The Chosen"

"Two Kinds" by Amy Tan was interesting because it had the message, "mothers are always right", and I can support this because in the text, the mother told the daughter she had a talent for piano even if she was not that good. After her mother died and she started playing the piano again, the text said it came easily to her. Now in The Chosen, it was shocking when Danny told Reuven he read Darwin. Is funny how Reb Saunders considers that anybody who reads Darwin is an Apikorsim yet he reads it in secret. It has a sense of hipocracy to it.
